VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
On October 29, 2020, at approximately 1945 hours, we received a request for a FAST team by the Carle Place Fire Department for a working tractor-trailer fire on Glen Cove Road and Westbury Avenue. The tractor-trailer was driving and collided with a pole causing the transformers to break off and fall into the trailer, causing the trailer contents to ignite. Heavy Rescue 1610 was on scene.
