TD Bank (Formerly Commerce Bank) recently hosted a reception to honor the dedicated volunteers of the Mineola Fire Department. The event was held at the bank's Mineola Branch on Jericho Turnpike. In attendance were the Chiefs and Officers of the department along with the longest serving volunteers in each company: Engine Co#1 Honorary Chief John Davanzo with 61 years, Truck Co#2 Ex-Chief Walter Crosby with 48 years and Engine Co#3 Honorary Chief Michael Maiolica with 57 years. TD Bank Manager Linda Millisis recognized the outstanding service that the department provides to the community and thanked these dedicated volunteers for their untiring efforts over the years.
